A Pair of Georgian Silver and Glass Cruets

A Pair of Georgian Silver and Glass Cruets

45.00

A gorgeous pair of Georgian faceted glass cruets or condiments (fancy word meaning that they contained mustard or pickles). They are perfectly hallmarked for Sheffield 1828 and may possibly have been made by John & Thomas Settle - that is why I love silver - it takes out a lot of guesswork and so extraordinary to think that they have survived for almost 200 years and would grace a dining table today. They are 11 cms high.
